Tim Flannery, Panasonic and Gaia

Posted by Derek Sapphire on Tuesday, April 19, 2011,
I am starting to get increasingly annoyed about this campaign against our Tim Flannery, fellow travellers. There's a really concerted effort to make him seem like some sort of opportunist because of his various sponsorship arrangements. Can you believe it? Tim Flannery, cashing in on the climate crisis? That's as absurd as saying that Nelson Mandela advocated terrorism.

Why this has even been allowed to happen is beyond me. Frankly, I think even criticising our Tim should be deemed a crime ag...

Tim Flannery, Gaia and ant colonies

Fellow travellers, why am I not surprised that the appalling Andrew Bolt thinks that our Tim Flannery's latest searing insights into the state of our planet and its potential future are "wild" and (as he said on the radio) "freaky".

The offending quote was this:

If we cut emissions today, global temperatures are not likely to drop for about a thousand years.

Far from exposing some kind of scam, it just shows how wise, visionary and far-thinking Professor Flannery is. It also reve...

Countless dead birds and fish a tragic testament to Gaia's grief

Posted by Derek Sapphire on Wednesday, January 5, 2011,
One thing I always find particularly annoying about right-wingers and conservatives is how oblivious they are to the presence of Gaia. Completely lacking in compassion and sensitivity, they are utterly incapable of feeling Her presence, even though She is all around, above, below and even through them!

Full of fear and hatred, they mock and deride anyone who worships Her. Take this vicious diatribe from the always offensive Tim Blair. In it, he mocks our beloved fellow traveller Tim Flannery f...
