Fellow travellers, being as philosophically, politically and spiritually evolved as I am, it's very rare that I can actually speak highly of another human being. But I certainly can in the case of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Frankly, the more I learn about him, the more impressed I am. While he's not in my league - and never will be, of course - he's certainly getting quite close.

Not only is he a brilliant computer hacker who has made complete fools of the entire Western world and all its fraudulent, oppressive, illegitimate and anti-democratic governments, he's also really media savvy.

Of course, he is already well aware of the power of the internet. But he knows the power of satire, too. Which is why he took part in this searing satirical video by the Rap News team.

Just as every one of my blog posts is a must read for anyone who wants to make the world a better place, this YouTube offering is a must see. It terrifyingly reveals how so-called "free" and "open" "democracies" really function; unflinchingly showing how these invariably corrupt regimes, along with their appallingly biased and compliant propaganda-spewing media, work tirelessly to keep their citizens in the dark. I mean, it's so accurate I almost couldn't believe it!

It was if they had taken my own unique insights right out of my head and then used them as a basis for their hilariously iconoclastic musical discourse. And it's so nuanced and subtle - not to mention multi-faceted. Really, you'll have to watch it several times very closely before you get the full message. I know I did.

Needless to say, rap is the perfect medium for such a powerful indictment of AmeriKKKa and its lickspittle states, Australia among them. It is the defiant music of the African American oppressed, after all.

Some may think that it's kind of sad when pasty white Melburnians with next to no rhythm use it, while donning silly wigs. But I think these elements make the piece all the more powerful. It's all kind of subversive - but not in a racist way. And Assange is all about subversion, is he not? He is subverting the dominant paradigm of the Big Lie and giving us The Cold Hard Truth instead.

Which is exactly what he does in the video.

Extraordinary. Just extraordinary
